Thermal Bonded absorbent fabrics for ultra-thin pads and panty liners
Highly Absorbent Thermal Bonded Fabrics for Ultra-Thin Period Pads and Panty Liners
Browse our range of Thermally Bonded Superabsorbent Fabrics below. These highly absorbent fabrics – all containing our Super Absorbent Fibres (SAF™) – are cost-effective, thin absorbent nonwoven materials that still provide high levels of absorbency and retention – even under load. This makes them ideal in applications that require a thin, discreet absorbent layer, e.g. ultra-thin period/Incontinence pads and panty liners.
Our thermally bonded absorbent materials can also be used in a wide range of other applications that require a lightweight absorbent solution – capable of absorbing many times its own weight in liquid and locking it away.
All of our Thermal Bonded Nonwovens are lightweight, extremely flexible, and can be manufactured with a number of layers to enhance absorbency performance.
These nonwoven webs can be bonded by hot air to create loftier fabrics with lower density and greater thickness, or can be passed through hot rollers or ovens to deliver a stronger, thinner structure.
We can achieve thermally bonded materials between 20-80gsm and they are typically a blend of SAF™ and other fibres.
Our Thermal Bonded Nonwovens are supplied direct by us or one of our trusted global tolling partners. We have a catalogue of fabrics readily available to sample, and can develop bespoke thermally bonded materials if required.
