Our Super Absorbent Fibre (SAF™) technology provides rapid levels of absorption and excellent retention – even under load. It is produced in a range of staple lengths and capable of absorbing up to 200 times its own weight in water.
- Super Absorbent Fibre Grade 112/52/10 is one of our longer staple fibre grades.
- This is a low wet-integrity long staple fibre grade.
- It offers a higher free swell than type 102/52/10 and is useful when absorbing water or solutions with a high salt content.
- It is ideal for blending with other fibres types and processing into carded nonwovens – typically Needlepunch and Thermobonds.
